IN SPRING, WE EXPAND.

This quarter we celebrate air–the element that breathes us in.

NURTURE YOURSELF

When we take care of ourselves, we create the space to take care of our Mama.

One Small Action:

Limit food waste.

Food waste is problematic for many reasons, including that leftover food in the landfill emits methane—a potent greenhouse gas. But limiting food waste is simple. Here are some habits to try out:

  • Grocery shop with intention. List out your weekly meal plan, and then the items needed for those meals. Purchase only what you need and stick to your plan.

  • Use leftover food scraps for other recipes. We love PlantYou’s scrappy cooking ideas.

  • Compost. If your area doesn’t provide compost pickup, there are alternatives, such as creating your own compost at home or investing in a kitchen compost machine.

Well Done Foundation

The Well Done Foundation is dedicated to plugging orphaned wells in the United States. The abandoned oil and gas wells that are no longer actively managed by an owner, yet pose a significant environmental hazard, leaking methane and CO2e, a potent greenhouse gas that contributes significantly to climate change. By plugging the wells, The Well Done Foundation is reducing methane emissions and safeguarding local communities.
